Technically this issue/story was published, but less than 2,000 copies made it into the marketplace. Published in August, 1999, Trevor's contribution was a seven page story, scripted by Chuck Dixon and inked by Joe Rubinstein, titled Worlds Apart. This story is presented in it's original pencil format for the very first time.
The issue also contained a Kyle Baker story, titled Letitia Lerner, Superman's Babysitter. This story focused on the Kents leaving the baby Kal-El with a babysitter who was totally unaware of his powers. The result was an often hilarious story which resulted in Kal-El being placed inside of a microwave oven and roasted (see panel below), electrocuting himself and his babysitter. DC Comics President Paul Levitz, decided that this story was totally inappropriate and so objectionable for publication that he ordered the entire print run to be recalled and destroyed. It's estimated that around 2,000 copies made it into the European and UK marketplace resulting in one of the rarest, and most valuable, comic books to own if you're collecting Trevor's output.
