Issue #4 of Black Lightning saw Trevor really begin to hit his stride artistically. This issue is noted for a number of reasons, the main amongst them being the first time that Trevor had drawn, for publication, two of DC's icon characters, Batman and Superman. Trevor would later re-visit Batman by drawing a handful of issues of Batman proper, along with the now legendary 'Venom' storyline in Legends Of The Dark Knight.
