Hi.
This is Trevor Von Eeden -- welcome to my website! The site was designed and created by Mr. Daniel Best, a brilliant friend from 'down under' (i.e.: Australia -- where Jack Johnson had won The Heavyweight Championship of the World, in 1908, making History by becoming the first black man -- an American -- to do so). Danny has devoted countless hours to the creation of this site, and I owe him an immeasurable debt of gratitude, and sincere appreciation.
Like all things in life, this site will grow as we go along. We'll be adding more pages of previously unseen Artwork, some published, some not--including some of my color work (which I don't do as much of as I'd like). A THRILLER page is still under construction, and in the very near future I'll be displaying the original, completely finished pencilled and scripted pages of my first book, a 240-pg graphic novel about the life of Jack Johnson, entitled "The Original Johnson" -- for you to look at, and read in its entirety. This'll be the first time that this remarkable man's story will be told in a comics format--and the first time that it'll have been told by a black man. I think you'll like it.
Like any professional artist, I love the (intelligent) critical eye. Compliments are always nice, but an honest point of view and constructive criticism, are what inspire me best -- so please feel free to contact me directly if you have either or both to offer. Job offers are also welcome, of course. I'm a REAL big fan of "brutal honesty" --so just tell me directly what you want me to know, that's all. Life is a learning experience, for me, and I LOVE to share good ideas.
