STORYBOARDS
This page sees some of the very first storyboards drawn, and later scripted - for fun -  by Trevor Von Eeden.  These storyboards were done for Neal Adams' Continuity Studios, shortly after Trevor had broken into the comic book business at the age of 17.

"It was done -as per the job requirements- as a very fast, loose, sketchy style," says Trevor, "designed just to tell a story, and no more.  I got my hands on these originals after they had been okayed, and were no longer needed, and wrote my own script to the banal action being presented in the visuals.

"In frame #7 of the second set of storyboards, you'll notice the art director's original markings around the product -that indicated that he wanted the shot to be in a tighter close-up that it is -filling the frame more.

"This is sorta proof that the frames were actually seen by the client--and commented on. I don't think the commercial itself was ever made, though. (Although I think that if they'd used my version, it'd have gotten the product some notice. Matter of fact, I'm sure they'd still be talking about it, even now; 'Ah yes, the famous vomit, urine, and drug addiction commercial!  Comtrex, wasn't it?  Man, now that's pushing the envelope! ...Too bad they went out of business so quickly, huh?')

"Okay, maybe not..."
