WORLD'S FINEST #287

In 1983 writer Cary Burkett wrote a four part story for World's Finest, which would feature not only head liners Batman and Superman, but also members of the Justice League Of America. The story arc ran through issues #285 to #288 and Trevor both penciled and inked issue #287 with stunning results. At the time Trevor was very much in his experimental mode and pushing both himself as an artist and comic art as a medium by creating a highly stylised vision whilst continuing his own personal evolution of Batman.

In mid 1983 the entire storyline was reprinted in Australia in one volume in black and white. As with a lot of American comic book art, the subtleties contained within Trevors work leaped out without colour overpowering his line work. These pages represent the bulk of Trevors work on the story from the issue he drew.
